Architecture
Entering the property on the ground floor you see first the stunning pool that seems to run to the ocean. A wide verandah is flanked by a massage room and spacious pool/shower room.
An internal staircase leads to a large living area and dining verandah that overlooks the pool below. Two double bedrooms adjoin either side of the dining space, each with their own private terrace looking to the ocean.
The second floor offers the Master bedroom opening to a large wide verandah. Two further bedrooms sit on the second floor.

Location
This stretch of Sri Lanka’s South Coast is ever more in the spotlight and fast becoming the go-to destination for visitors of all types. Weligama is known as a prime surfing bay - friendly for beginners - and a new wave of hoteliers and restauranteurs has invested strongly in Ahangama and Midigama, a few minutes drive west along the coastline.
The likes of Cape Weligama (actually a neighbour to this villa) and Malabar Hill, have elevated the hospitality market in and around Weligama and really lifted the lifestyle potential for anyone owning property here.
The much-celebrated Southern Highway caps driving time from Colombo to around 1.5 hours; the International Airport no more than 2 hour's drive. Domestic flight options are increasing now too, with new flights scheduled to Koggala from Colombo cutting travel times further.
