Village house renovation project close to the beach

An exciting (‘from scratch’) renovation project on a small plot of land 100 yards from one of the South Coast’s favourite beaches

One of a set of small village house plots within a short walk of one of Sri Lanka’s favourite (but quiet) beaches on the South Coast.

There’s little left structurally but perhaps some scope to integrate in small part as testament to the original house.

Access to the beach is via a village path - a walk of not much over 100 yards.

The plot is approximately 15 minutes drive West of Tangalle.

Access to the Southern Expressway is via the Beliatta Junction and is, also, around 15 minutes by car.

We like the location for its quiet, private feel but being close to Hiriketiya, Dickwella and the attractions of those locations as needed.
This is a quiet section of an already relatively quiet beach, though some - seemingly private residential - development is happening quite close by.

Immediately neighbouring the plot is a small boutique hotel and a few other village houses.
